Bates College match today Postponed!

Pat Cosquer has informed me that the Bates College squash matches for Sunday, January 13th, 2014 have been postponed.

Squash fans should head to Bowdoin for a full day of squash with a mini round robin between Bowdoin, Williams and Connecticut colleges.

This Friday, December 6th at 5:00pm Bates College travels to Bowdoin College for a classic local NESCAC match featuring both Men’s and Women’s teams.

5:00 pm Bowdoin College’s Lubin Squash Center Men’s and Women’s squash teams

On Saturday, December 7th Tufts University swings through Maine to play Bates College

2013 Del Fuller Maine Open Tournament at Bowdoin

Tomas Fortson and Bowdoin College will be hosting the Del Fuller Maine Squash Open tournament

Bowdoin’s Lubin Squash Center November 8-12, 2013 Entry fee $60 ($30 for college players) plus $15 if you aren’t a USSQUASH paid member Entries close Friday, November 1st

Local players playing in college

While the Portland YMCA is not normally known for producing college squash players there have been some exceptions. David Born finished a fine career at Bates College this past May and his efforts helped inspire two other local Portland area squash players.
