Six members of the Bates College Squash team came to the YMCA for an evening of exhibition matches, coaching and demonstrations. These collegiate athletes volunteered their time to bring incredible skill and technical expertise to the courts at the YMCA.
Highlights included a spirited doubles match with some incredible shotmaking and reflex volleys. The youngest clinic participant, a 10 year old named Zach, got to spend plenty of time on a court with several really talented players.
All of us that participated are grateful for the generosity of the Bates players for sharing their time and expertise.
