With the opening of the new Portland Community Squash facility in early January changes are coming to the Portland area squash scene. Many players have expressed interest in hearing what the plans are for Box Leagues in the area once the PCS and the YMCA are both open for business.
The current Box League at the YMCA will remain and continue to be active for YMCA members. A new Box League at PCS will be started for members at PCS in February. My efforts at running the box leagues will continue and I’ll handle all of the signups, communications and maintenance needed to keep the leagues moving along. The signup form and links on MaineSquash.com’s website have already been changed to reflect this.
