Saturday a group of us went to Harvard to see Head Coach Mike Way and various others give a clinic on beginner/intermediate coaching. Nothing quite beats the advice, tips and demonstrations from people that do this for a living and have risen to the top of the profession. Former world #1 Thierry Lincou was on hand to do some demonstrations of what “perfect” form actually looks like when doing drills.
We even ran into Paige Buchanan who is now playing for St. Lawrence’s women’s team. Some of us stayed and watched the much anticipated match between Harvard and St. Lawrence #1 players Ali Farag and Amr Kalifa.
