Start time of Thursday’s David Palmer clinic has been moved to 6:00pm because of a scheduling conflict. The clinic will run until at least 7:30pm. Spectators are welcome (though we may pass the hat because this is a fundraiser!!!). We are already at capacity of 30 participants. You may email Greg in case there is a last minute cancellation. David will be joined by PST tour Commissioner and CEO Joe McManus. He will be around to answer questions and introduce David to the crowd. See Pro Squash Tour for more information about PST The Flex Court at the Portland YMCA will be closed Friday, October 12th through Sunday, October 14th. It will reopen Monday morning the 15th. It appears that some of the paint removal chemicals did not get completely removed in one spot on the front wall causing premature chipping of the new paint. That area will be spot finished and repainted.
October Box League is set. See the link on the main page. Many new players either joining or re-joining the league. There are several boxes that grew to 6 players to handle the last minute signups. Please remember that we are playing best three of five games… you no longer score games after someone has won three. An afternoon of women’s squash at the Y. No experience necessary. Bring a friend and learn a wonderful new sport that will carry you through the long winter months.
