Renovations update

Some changes in the availability of squash courts at the Portland YMCA

  • Flex court front wall is taking longer than expected. It will reopen on Tuesday September 4th, 2012
  • The two small courts (courts 1 and 2) will close Friday morning and reopen on Tuesday September 4th, 2012

Bates Bobcat Classic Tournament

The 2nd annual Bates Bobcat Classic Pro and Amateur Squash Tournament dates have been announced by Bates and the Pro Squash Tour

  • Amateur Event
    • Friday, October 26 – Saturday, October 27, 2012
    • Bates College Squash Center, 56 Alfred Plourde Parkway, Lewiston, ME
    • Entry form with details
    • Entry includes access to all Pro events!!!
    • Men’s and Women’s draws
  • Pro Event

We expect that many local players will register and play. Should be a fantastic time and will feature some of the best players that have ever played in Maine!!!

Installing the glass wall!

I caught the guys installing the glass wall today. They were hard at work making sure that our new court will have a great new glass wall.

Another summer month with plenty of players dropping for vacations, travel and injuries. There are several new players sprinkled in the boxes. With plenty of shuffling players will find new opponents and plenty of matches.
