Portland YMCA Box League is now in full swing with 18 new players joining for October! http://modules.ussquash.com/ssm/pages/boxleague/Boxleague.asp?BoxID=1185 What a treat this past weekend’s Bobcat Classic Squash Tournament was! The Pro Squash Tour, run by Joe McManus, combined with Pat Cosquer and Bates College hosted an amazing event. With over 70 participants from all over the east coast including St. Lawrence University, Bowdoin College, Bates College, Colby College and numerous none affiliated amateurs the talent was remarkable. The Portland YMCA was well represented with 9 players. The evening will begin with some large group instruction and then smaller groups will break out to do some light drilling. The second hour will feature game play. Come learn a great new game or improve your skills while meeting potential match partners. No experience necessary and equipment is available to borrow. |
