Coastal Challenge 2015 Fundraiser begins!

Portland Community Squash has announced their 2015 Coastal Challenge fundraising effort to support efforts to bring squash programs and a facility to Portland! Please join and help contribute to the future of squash in Maine! From the announcement:

Portland Community Squash is in the middle of a capital campaign and weeks away from breaking ground on our state-of-the-art community squash facility. Now, more than ever, it’s important that we rally together in the 2015 Coastal Challenge to support the PCS Annual Fund. Local squash player featured in College brochure for Haverford College

We’re always proud of kids that have started playing squash in programs we run at the YMCA in Portland! Here’s a snapshot of Isabel, a junior in the fall, at Haverford College outside of Philadelphia.

Holiday hours, Summer hours

YMCA of Southern Maine Portland Branch squash courts availability updates:

  • YMCA will be CLOSED on July 4th, 2015
  • Court 1 (hardball, American sized little court on the left) will be used for storage of materials for the annual Peaks to Portland swim event. It will be out of action for squash until late July.
  • Court 2 (hardball, American sized little court on the right) will be used for summer camp activities for the next few weeks Monday through Friday from 9-5pm.

 

Summer hours

Portland branch of the YMCA of Southern Maine Summer Hours begin on Memorial Day.

  • M-F 6am-8pm
  • S-Su 6am-3pm
